Simulate VoIP provider with X-Lite

Hello,

I'm new to 3CX/Elastix and doing some POC using a VBox machine.

I don't have so far any PSTN line nor SIP trunks.

I want to simulate the inbound/outbound calls using X-lite, but I don't know how to connect it using SIP trunk

I'm coming from Genesys background, and its possible to accept VoIP traffic directly from x-lite as a VoIP provider.

Hi,

I don't think this would be possible, X-Lite is a free soft-client with limited features and completely un-supported by 3CX.

I have used X-lite with 3CX before however but only to register to a standard extension (as a SIP client) or directly to a real SIP trunk using the full DDI number.
