Unsupported Since emui 11 security updates in march 2021 not ringing anymore

Hi,
I´m using a Huawei P40 Pro and I installed the microG Apps to get the push function works well, instead having the google services installed. It worked good for me until the latest security updates for the emui 11 system in march 2021. Before the 3cx app was ringing most times, now it is ringing only a very few times. My emui build is 11.0.0.176. Does anyone have the same experience, or has an idea?

Yes, I recommend uninstalling whatever the microG apps are and let the Google services do their job. That is the only scenario tested with 3CX, and the latest 3CX update (if you installed it) included updates to the push functionality.

You can also check this Knowledge Base post on how to optimize the 3CX app operation on a Huawei device. Be aware though that specific firmware and battery management implementations can affect the delivery of FCM push messages to the 3CX app.

Hi,
your solutions seems not to consider, that the new Huawei smartphones have no google services installed, due to the american restictions against Huawei. And there are many free operating systems, which intentionally dispence on google services. Therefore I found the microG project, which fakes the google playstore, this is the only way to get push messages run, without the Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). And it worked for me quite fine, until Huawei recently updated security items. Huawei itself says, it´s not there job, to consider thirdparty apps, I should ask the producer of my app.
So, what can I do? Maybe I can ask 3cx, if they consider, that there are operating systems without FCM?!

@Teksi77,

based on your description, (a) your device has not a proper Google services and FCM installed and (b) the services you installed via the microG project are not guaranteed to work as reliably the Google-native ones. Since the Android app relies on properly updated and running Google FCM services on the device, in such a scenario the app is expected not to function properly as these requirements are not met.
