SIP over VDSL

Hi

Being informed by a supplier that they cannot do SIP over VDSL. 6 Concurrent sessions, would have thought that this would have been easy with 20mbps upstream. Anyone else had experience of this?

We are running 3CX over VDSL with 8 user license, no issues but we do have a Draytek router with QOS setup for 3CX protocols as this is also used for our normal internet traffic i.e. web browsing and smtp emails.

Speed is one thing. The provider may have issues with latency (or something else) that prevents VoIP from working without excessive drop-outs. I would push them for more (technical) information on why they say it won't work
