SIP Provisioning of 3CX User

As per the instructions here, I am trying to provision the user on a 3rd party app, but I cannot. The account is not getting activated.

The Authentication name needs to be the Authentication ID and the password is the Authentication Password on the Phone Privisioning tab for the extension in your 3CX console. The Username is the extension number (as you have already got).

I'm not sure (can't remember) what the proxy settings need to be.

You will most likely need to change the 5001 to port 5060

@jed - Thank you for your response. Port 5001 is the server port. If you note the URL https://www.3cx.com/pbx/sip-uri/ it talks about the server port, and not SIP port.

I tried with 5060, still it is not working.

If you join from the outside of the PBX, you need to remove the "Block Remote Phones" under User / Options, to allow the traffic from the outside.

The checkmark is set as a standard by 3CX for a reason, so make sure that all extensions have a very great authentification and password.

So basically on the server tab:

Proxy/Registrar: <3CX FQDN>
STUN server: <3CX FQDN>

everything else default/blank.

User tab:

Username: <Ext>
Auth name: <AuthID>
password: <authpwd>

@kieferschild - Thank you so much. https://www.3cx.com/pbx/sip-uri/. Using the port 5001 as per the instruction in the URL was actually creating the problem. The User has got registered.
