SMB edition - I like it! - help me locate the Voicemail Transcription

I am brushing up on the new SMB version and like the simplicity! This is a good product to round out the offerings, so thank you @Nick Galea and the team.

I really like the foolproof SIP trunk configuration and I think we can allow some of our smaller clients to self-manage.

I do need some help with locating the voicemail transcription. Is that feature going to be managed with the hosting or will we need to configure our Google Speech-to-Text API like we do in the Pro and Enterprise?

This is not available on SMB version (previously called StartUP).
Based on a feeling, I don't believe this feature is going to come in SMB/StartUP (unfortunately). Although I would be happy. My deductions are based on the fact that the principle of SMB/StartUP is that several company can be hosted on the same instance but isolated from each other. Transcription being a general setting at the PBX, this would involve redesignating the function and the current feature only supports one language, so, again, it's hard for me to imagine how 3CX could include "transcription" in SMB/StartUP without having to rethink how it currently works.

That said, I'll be happy to receive everyone's stones, if I'm completely wrong.
I love this feature, and I too dream of it being “integrated” into StartUP.

Perhaps not. I understand your explanation from a technical perspective. It sounds like it would need to be provided by the hosting (3CX) since it is multitenant.

@technigogo Thanks for the heads up, much appreciated! I believe for small "micro" installs less than 5 users for sure but also up to 10 users, SMB is absolutely the right solution. In terms of your question - we want to make transcription part of the SMB paid version. We have not been able to do it yet but its a matter of time.....

You are right about the feature list, sorry about that, we will fix it.
