Solved SMB Keepalive timer

Hi all,

I have an SMB 3CX and a SIP trunk connected to a German provider REVENTIX. In order to keep their firewall open, I need to set the keepalive timer to 30 s.
Is there a possibility that I do it on the platform or can someone from 3CX do it. If there is no keepalive active, they automatically close the FW and I can not have
any inbound calls.

Btw, REVENTIX is from 3CX recommended SIP provider in Germany.

It is not possible to enable keep alives on the SMB, did you get this information from REVENTIX? As we cannot reproduce this behavior, even if we let the trunk idle for more than 30 seconds we are still able to receive/make calls. In your case if you do an outbound call after 30 seconds while the trunk was idle, are you able to make outbound calls? If so after that can you receive an incoming call

Hi Ilias,

I was able to find the problem, I have changed one setup on the Reventix Web Page, and that caused the problem.
The template for Reventix is working fine, I have made a an error that caused the issue.
