We were having an issue whenever we sent out a message, their response would create another thread.
After some testing here's my conclusion:
-Make sure you send messages to E164 formatted numbers(always add the +1)
-If you save someone as a contact, their number MUST be entered in E164 Format.
-SMS enabled DIDs & Main Trunk MUST be in E164. (in ALL places they appear, including per user outbound caller ID, and assigned DIDs)
