SMS on V18 PRO

I have a client who needs SMS allowed to everyone, but the incoming RingGroup only needs to ring two of those phones.
How do I set up incoming SMS messages to go to many more people than incoming phone calls. How do I make the SMS route like this?
It will only work if I add the users to the existing ring group, but they do not want their phones to ring on all the incoming phone calls.

No. They have one Main number. Ring Group needs to ring 2 users, and they want SMS to be available to 5 users

Everything I read says that it routes to the same group as the trunk. Which is an issue in this case.

Normally mobiles/landlines are seperate which would make this easy.

The fact your number can receive SMS and calls is another thing...

I need the TEXT messages routed to more users than the calls within 3cx. the only way that I can make this work is add people to the ring group that the calls are routed to. Is there another way that I can configure this?

Use an IVR. Set the forward Sms to the group with 5 people, set the destination if no input to the other group, and set the timeout to 1sec.

The IVR will route calls to the 2-person group and SMS to the 5-person group.
