SMS TEST not working

Hi

We have 3CX installed with Professional edition license and version 16 update 7.and we have FQDN and installed with SSL certificate from Godaddy.

Recently we have tried to configure SMS and while testing and we are getting the below error message,

The PBX is not reachable via the Internet. Ensure that all necessary ports are open and that the firewall check is successful. The error code received is: UNABLE_TO_VERIFY_LEAF_SIGNATURE

Please help us to solve the issue.

Hello Krishna,

From the error it looks like there is something missing from your certificate chain, probably an intermediate certificate. Some times Google chrome will not give you an error when accessing the management console but firefox and other browsers will. Try to access your management console from different browsers using your FQDN and https port and check if you get an error.
Also make sure that you have installed all intermediate certificates

Since you are asking that question I would recommend using a 3CX FQDN which comes with a Let's encrypt certificate to avoid these types of issues. Alternatively you can contact a 3CX partner to assist you with the configuration. https://www.3cx.com/ordering/find-reseller/

But, we need to use this SSL certificate and so any document about installing the intermediate certificate .

We do not have any documentation on how to install custom certificates as we assume that since you are going down that path you already know what you are doing.
I can only recommend the same as before, you can either use a 3CX FQDN or find someone that can help you fix your current one.
