SMTP Email

When 3CX V16 sends an email, it shows a name before <[email protected]>.
Where can I change that name?

When using 3CX's SMTP server I believe the name is generated as follows "3CX Phone System - " followed by the name of the company that is found registered to the license key.

You can check the name on 3cx management console dashboard under "license" as the "Product owned by" name.

As to how to change the name bound to your license key you would email your re-seller who would email a ticket to 3CX to have it amended (within reason).

Simpler if you want to customize the name, use your own SMTP server (3CX Pro or Enterprise License required).
