Snom 820 Function Key Labels not working

I have a couple of Snom 820 on firmware version 8.7.5.35 that I cannot get the function key labels to work on. The buttons can be programmed but no labels show up. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there,
In fact what you described is due to a feature that was deprecated in the firmwares of snom 820.
The BLF labels are not rendered by default, but you can display them on demand by maintaining pressed the fourth BLF for 1-2s.
