Hello, This is a brand new install and I'm having an issue getting this phone to appear in the phones section.

I feel like I've tested / tried everything to get this phone to appear. I've restarted 3CX services, restarted / factory reset the phone, I'm on the same VLAN as the 3CX server. Multicast is enabled on my switch, NTP if working on the phone, updated phone firmware, I've confirmed sip.mcast.net is running on the interface on the server.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hello,

Are there any IPs in the blacklist?

Also, please tell us what the internal VLAN IP range is.

It's not in the IP Blacklist. The internal VLAN IP range is 10.32.0.1 255.255.252.0. So 10.32.0.2-10.32.3.254

1. Is there more than one NIC on the PBX? The would all need to be joined in the multicast group so we can "see" new devices
https://www.3cx.com/docs/plug-and-play-ip-phone/

2. Ensure there is no DHCP Option 66 running on the network - some phones may not send a PnP message if they detect this option at startup.

3. You can always run a capture on your PBX, then factory reset a Snom. Then after it boots end the capture and filter it in Wireshark for ip.addr==224.0.1.75 and see if the phone has sent any SIP messages with that IP as a destination.

There's only one NIC and the LO interface. I don't have a option 66 set on this subnet. I'm working on the capture now. Thank you.

Is the 3cx server on the same vlan as the phones ?

I don't have anything in the wireshark dump when I filter by ip.addr==224.0.1.75

Then absolutely nothing has reached your PBX NIC, justifying the problem we see.

I'd recommend rechecking your network because multicast messages don't appear to be propagating.
