Snom M700 rename user

Hi guys,
how can I make it so that the extensions with handsets on a snom M700 base station are also renamed when I rename the extension in the 3cx?

Have you restarted your M700 base in order to get it to reprovision?

Hi John,
that was my usual way, is it possible without a manual restart of the base station? Must otherwise always wait for a moment where just no call is ongoing.

Hi Tim,

Unfortunately no, this a DECT base device so you cannot reprovision it on demand like you would with normal deskphones.

Find a time where it is quiet (like lunch time perhaps?) and just restart your base.
