Snom Templates/Provisioning

Hi all,,

i have a bunch of Snom Phones (320)
For some reason, they do not provision any more?
Has there been some change in the templates? If so, what changed?

Even the new, plain Snom-Template (version 78105) it's not working.
Using the link http://my-ip-address:5000/provisioning/lkl458qey1c/cfg{MAC} in a browser-window, I can download the configuration.

Any ideas?

are you using provisioning via STUN or local?

I am pushing the config-url via dhcp.
It seems that it's working, but taking long time.
It shows "Provisioning ETA" and counts down - this did not happen before...

Hello @ckatterl

Please note that nothing has changed regarding the provisioning of these phones and you should be able to provision them as before. Try adding the provisioning link into the phones web interface and see if the provisioning happens faster.

We encounter the same problem regarding not able to provision language settings.
In the phone logs we see error 403 being generated for provisioning.snom.com.
PHN: on_language_download: Cannot download >http://provisioning.snom.com:80/config/snomlang-8.7.5/gui_lang_NL.xml<. Error >403<
PHN: on_language_download: Cannot download >http://provisioning.snom.com:80/config/snomlang-8.7.5/web_lang_NL.xml<. Error >403<!
Is this problem a provisioning.snom.com problem?

Hi Patrick,
There was a problem on the Snom side - all phones that were reset to factory default settings were pointed to that wrong "provisioning.snom.com" provisioning server.
Yesterday they fix that issue, so please try to reset your Snom phones and provision them again.
