sorry i wrote the wrong phone, i edited it now.

we have 2 t49 here and i know they are not supported, now i am trying to set them up as hotdesking phones for our meeting rooms.

but due to the fact these phones are not supported the do not auto re-provision after someone logged in - but after a reboot the person is logged in

so it would be nice to have a softkey for rebooting the phone so someone can log in - press key for reboot and is logged ins - press key for logout and then reboot and the logged off again

As this is not a supported phone, I doubt you can replicate the hotdesk feature - relies on templates etc.

as stated - it works fine it just does not auto-provision after someone logged in only after you reboot the phone the user is logged in - then this user can press the logout key and the phone again needs a reboot and is set back to HDxxxx

users pluggin the cable in and out is a way that works, but a not very elegant one

so a softkey would be the ideal solution - i just need to know how to setup a key (via xml, url, whatever) to let the phone to a reboot

maybe a support member?

maybe a support member?
I would recommend using a supported device for hotdesking that does not require custom changes to the configuration to work. Not sure if can add a softkey that reboots or re-provisions the phone
