I have a SPA525G2 set to SIP. Created an extension in 3CX using the MAC and model. The configuration file generated seems to be a XXXXXXXXXXXX.cnf.xml file where the XXXX is the MAC address. All well and good, except the phone (after a factory reset) attempts to download 3 files...SEPXXXXXXXXXXXX.cnf.xml , xmlDefault.cnf.xml and xmlDefault525g2.cnf.xml none of which seems to have been created by 3CX, at least, I couldn't find them.
The phone came with firmware 7.5.7, which is beyond the version suggested by 3CX.
I've dabbled with other Cisco sets and the config files created always seems to have the SEP prefix.
Anyone else come across something similar?

Never mind...
I discovered that the Web Server (option) was turned off, which prevented me from getting into the configuratiuon GUI by going to the IP. With that on, it is very simple to manually configure, the same as most Linksys/Sipura devices.

Still curious about the file names though....
