Speakerphone used instead of earpiece

Hi!

On the X10 Mini, when answering a call, the speakerphone is activated instead of the earpiece. Are there settings to change this, or is this a fault in 3XCPhone?

Same problem with Huawei U8220 (pulse). Headset is working but not earpiece.

Can you confirm that the settings of the phone are correct?

The android native phone reproduces this problem?

I dont have this problem with SipDroid and calling normally uses the earpiece and not speakerphone. I do get this same problem with Linphone though ...

I use the X10 Mini in Android 1.6

We are going to get hold of an X10 mini and see what is happening here.

We will update when we have results. Probably something with screen size. Another user had a problem on X10 mini becoming unresponsive sometimes.

How do you switch between Speaker and Earpiece during call?

On my nexus one, I click on Earpiece
An interface comes up - Earpiece or speaker
i choose what I prefer and it routes audio to the selected calls.

however with all these different models and phones, I cannot guarantee that this will work on each and every phone at this beta stage

Some problem on my Samsung Galaxy i5700. The App is very unstable. When I put it on background, pressing home button, it doesn't come up again. I have to kill its process with task manager...

The app crashes too.

Sometime the app freeze my phone.

A lot of work to do but great app compared to other solutions for Android SIP.

I have checked this with development

The first generation samsung android phones: galaxy (i7500), spica (i5700), behold are known for their audio issues.
All voip clients (also some music apps) have issues with them.

A bit sad, but not much you can do.

Or use at your own risk.
