Hi all
I have an outbound rule setup which allows all our users within the department to"XYZ" to dial out. The rule itself has no specified prefix, is configured to use our SIP trunk route, and it doesn't strip any digits. It works perfectly on those extension where we do not have the "Disable External Calls" box ticked.
We do however have a requirement for ALL extensions to be able to dial speed dials (laundry service, pharmacy, local tea room etc) and we've setup a few additional outbound rules to cater for this.
One example is as follows:
Rule name: Speed Dial #01 (Laundry)
Calls to numbers starting with the prefix: #01
Calls from extension(s): Greyed out - cannot edit
Calls to numbers with a length of: Blank
Calls from Department: XYZ
Make outbound calls on...
Route 1: SIP Trunk
Strip digits: 3
Prepend: 073XXXXXXX
Outbound caller ID: Blank
Irrespective of whether the extension is allowed or not allowed to make external calls, we get back a response of "Call forbidden by administrator". Can anybody shed any light on this, we have literally copied the steps verbatim from the 3CX SMB Free Edition online guide.
Many thanks
