HI,
For this service there are only 2 UK approved SIP providers.
I have a new client who wants the StartUP Pro as opposed to an onprem installation.
I see it is not allowed to use a generic sip provider.
This gives me a big issue. I'm sure the 2 UK providers are great but having spoken to both, neither provide the ability to select a range of easy on the eye numbers. I need a geographic straight run of 16 numbers starting with 000 for main reception, then 001-> 015.
My options appear to be
On prem solution with my existing SIP provider who has been great for 8 years+ who has a massive block of easy on the eye numbers.
Purchase numbers from my existing SIP provider and then port them to one of the 2 approved UK providers. This would be ok but the cost of the transfer is a non starter.
I understand from a support point of view why you are de-risking your side by only allowing approved SIP providers but this is probably going to result in a lost cliet for me. I am willing to take the risk with a generic SIP provider as I have used them for years with no issues and will continue to do so for on prem solutions
Can you enable the generic SIP provider? or propose something else. I dont really want an on prem solution for this client.
Thanks
Neil.
