Status "Homework" for which the hand-set doesn't ring, but the mobile app does

As several of our colleagues work from home now and again, they frequently use the mobile app.
However, when we forward a call to their number, both the in-house hand-set and the mobile will ring.
This distracts the colleagues who work near the desk of the ringing hand-set.

I've renamed the status "Lunch" to "Homework" and would now want to set it so that only the mobile app rings when this status is selected.

I'm afraid that this is not possible. The Lunch status that you selected to change to Homework is the "Custom1" status which is 'Always Available'. There are no options to Disallow use of extension outside the LAN specifically for a single status.

You could do this the other way around such that the mobile isn't polled but the IP phone is, if you'd like.
