Hi everyone,

Have a remote site with three STUN-provisioned Yealink T58A phones installed. Two days ago two of the phones were reported non-functional: both extensions appear registered and online, but no inbound calls comes through the phones. Fixed the issue last evening by resetting the phones followed by provisioning. However, today in the morning one of the phones stopped to receive calls again.

Any idea how could it be explained? Why of three identical setups two stop working within 24 hrs since the reset and re-provisioning?

3CX Version: Enterprise Annual 16.0.1078
Server OS: Debian 9 v16.0.655
Is the 3CX Server Hosted: no
IP Phone Make/Model/Firmware: Yealink T58A v58.85.0.5
Provisioning Method: STUN
Trunk Provider: Vitelity
Has the Firewall Checker passed: YES
Are custom Phone Templates being used: NO

Have you configured the phones the 3CX support way.

1. Each phone has a fixed IP address (can be dhcp reservation)
2. Each phone has a different SIP port and RTP ports.
i.e. phone1 - sip 5065 , rtp 14000 to 14012 , phone2 - sip 5066 , rtp 14020 to 14032

each phone requires a block of 12 rtp ports

3. On the firewall, setup port forwarding for the relevant ports to the correct phone

Or the easy solution, install SBC server running a raspberry PI

Year, guys, appreciate your hints and advices! Followed the instructions you provided, now all three phones are working again. There is a one more thing - to wait 24 hrs more to make 100% sure the solution does really work.

Have a good one, everybody.
