Hey Gang

Does anyone know when the 2614 WIFI Telephone will be supported ? Bought one for our sales/ test/ demo area and just found out it is not supported on 3CX per a posting back in July !

Tried setting it up as different types of telephones but I cannot register it either ..

Thx

Regards

Rich

As it is 3CX unsupported phone you have no other choice than trying to set it up manually.

Yea thats what I thought .. Tried registering it this am to no avail but I will dig more into it when I have the time .

Thx

I have setup Spectralink 8440 WiFi Phones with 3CX before, normally you need to register them to a WiFi access point first then sort out SIP registration after this.

Hi Eddv123
Thx for the reply !
I have them up on my wifi now and have to set up a sip account for them . At one point I had dial tone but no registration on the sip account . I'll review the sip account a little later .. I am sure I can get it to work , how successfully , buttons etc. , not sure ..

If this is local configuration just register directly to the extension(s) the username, password and local IP of 3CX as the SIP server and that should be it now.

Yea I'll work on it in the am as I got tied up today on other projects .

Thx Eddy and I'll let you know !

Good Morning

Just finished up and the 2614 tel works ok . had a few basic issues with the registration but once sorted out it works like a charm . Inbound outbound calling vmail etc. All work as expected ! Have not played around with the buttons etc. as My system does not need any special button programming template changes etc. right now . I will use it out in the warehouse as I am building another system for a customer .. Running thre latest 3CX Beta 16 code too and the tel works pretty good !

Will try out Blu tooth headsets later on as I have a Plantronics PLT Headset that I'll try and work on as well ..

Thanks for the help !

Regards

Rich
