System Event Notifications are going to System Owner

Currently running 3CX ver 20.0.4.487 on a Windows server.

I only want notifications to go to the email address listed in the "Send to these email addresses as well", in this example [email protected]. What am doing wrong? Why did this change?

I do not have the "Send to System Owners as well" box checked and yet another person on the system with email address ([email protected]) is getting messages. They were setup up as System Owner so I tried changing it to System Admin but it didn't make a difference. I do not have their address listed as an additional send-to.

Extensions defined as System Admins will always receive the notifications. The System Owners and additional emails are optional.

For us, our logic works differently. As system owner I want to receive the notifications but not the System Admin. I went thru each of 3CX installations and cleared the values, reset, and saved and oddly this resolved the issue for each.

I'm getting the same questions, our cliënts do not want to receive these emails. How can I stop sending the mails to them? Set them as "System Owner" and not "System Admin"?

This was our issue too, we do not want them going to any System Admins as they cannot do anything about most of the notifications sent other than call our team as we have the resources to troubleshoot issues (security permissions outside of 3CX).

We had to de-mote their rights to Manager so they wouldn't get notifications. Maybe there should be a second checkbox - Send Notifications to Sys Admin, so it can be turned off. At least there's an option to plug in an email address, that resolved our issue as we wanted the notifications to go to specific email address.
