T38 Fax Service

Hi,

I am a bit of a newbie to all this and was wondering if someone could confirm the following.

If you want to be able to recieve faxes via your voip provider to the 3cx pbx, do they HAVE to support the t38 standard or is this just a nice to have?

Pretty certain it's a 100% must have.
