T5xW's fall off Wi-Fi when rebooted

I have two sites where i am using Yealink T5xW phones connected to a 3cx system running V20U6, in both cases we are finding that when a phone that is connected via Wifi is rebooted, it loses it's Wi-Fi configuration and requires manual intervention to get it to rejoin the Wi-Fi. Phones are on the latest 3cx supported firmware

I used a different router phone (and the same router phone) for each of the Wi-Fi phones to try to rule out a particular handset being a problem.
Does anyone have any ideas why?

Those models were never tested on 3CX via WiFi, we always recommend to used them wired. As far as I'm aware, we do not provision any of the WiFi parts of the phone.

If you think your WiFi connection is solid (and this is never a given for any of us) you might want to contact Yealink support and get help troubleshooting it. Be prepared to provide them with phone logs.

Thanks for your feedback. I agree that the default template for the T5 phones doesn't update any of the config for wifi settings that i can see. I wouldn't expect any settings that aren't in the template to get changed provisioned as a result of rebooting the phone, in the same way that account 2/3... and transport doesn't. It uses the ethernet MAC for provisioning

I agree that network infrastructure plays a big part here and i'm now looking into this, it was just strange that i had the same thing on two sites.

How are they being rebooted, from the 3CX admin console?
