Solved Teams call is doubled / showed twice

Hi,

since a few days all calls which are routed over MS Teams are doubled. This means:

1. Two Notifications
2. Two calls in the Call log of MS Teams

PS: Since the same time all contact Names are Displayed Twice. I think this came with Build 450

Version: 18.0 Update 3 (Build 450)

Hi!

I can't think what could be causing this, but I suspect some kind of "looping" going on here.

I assume that "Dächert, Elias" is a Public Phonebook contact you have in 3CX, is this correct?

Also, if for this extension you:

1. In the Extension Settings you enable "Accept multiple calls" option
   
2. Log into the WebClient in parallel with the Teams app
3. Call your DID again

Will 2 calls appear again in the Teams client AND the WebClient?

One more thing to better understand your setup, is "ERA" your Inbound Rule name?
Also is the Inbound Rule pointing directly to an Extension, or is it pointed to a Ring Group or Queue.
Generally, explain how this call was routed through your system.

• ERA is an Inbound Rule
• Dächert Elias is an Public Phonebook Contact

Enabled "Accept multiple calls"
-> Webclient only shows one call.

298 is my Extension - im calling from my Smartphone to my external number ...98. This is directly routed through an Inbound Rule to my Extension.

This happens for all users.

OK, What happens if you DON'T call from 298, and instead you call from your mobile phone via GSM to External Number ...98, does the same happen?
Also does the "Dächert Elias" appear twice in the Display Name?

that's exactly what i've done. Calling via GSM from my Mobile phone to the external Number ...98 - that is what the above Screenshots show.

When calling internally everything is fine.

Also does the "Dächert Elias" appear twice in the Display Name?

Our provider just moved us into the cloud, after a restart of the physical Hyper-V the old 3CX Instance came back up.

Glad you figured it out! Indeed 2 3CX instances running at the same time could do this to you.
