The dialed number is displayed incorrectly.

Good day!
On the 3CX server, there is a trunk that requires sending 4-digit numbers. There is a route that sends numbers with the "99" prefix to this trunk, resulting in 6-digit numbers. Before sending to the trunk, the first two digits are stripped, so the trunk receives 4-digit numbers. Everything works as intended.

However, in the client, the displayed/saved number in call history is not the 6-digit dialed number but the 4-digit number sent to the trunk (after stripping the first two digits). Additionally, this 4-digit number is matched against our phonebook if it exists there.

Is it possible to configure the client to display/save the full number with the "99" prefix instead of the 4-digit number sent to the trunk?

if you are dialing out of the 3CX end these need to be 4 digits... then there is NO way to send the correct 4 digits but mean something else like 6 digits.

Now if the trunk comes into an 3CX, you can "Re-format inbound numbers"... would the other PBX be able to do the same?
If the other end of the trunk is an 3CX, why are you using a trunk and not a bridge?

So I would guess the other end of the Trunk is not a 3CX, and the other type of PBX just does not have the option to correct incomming numbers?
Normally it would be corrected at incomming, not at outgoing (to my knowledge).

Think about dialing a 9 or 0 for outbound line, this is normally append anyway, so this could be 99 correction for this incomming trunk at receiving PBX
