The IP has been blacklisted for 20 sec. Reason

Hi All,

My PBX has been under attached from hackers I have gone through articles on securing my 3CX PBX and so far they have not succeeded.

In the Anti-Hacking under security I have configured the "Black List Time Interval" to 18000 seconds.

However I can see from the server logs this message saying:

The IP **.**.***.*** has been blacklisted for 20 sec. Reason: requests rate is too high!

Why is it not black listed for the time (18000 Sec's) specified in the "Black List Time Interval".

Any help or information is appreciated.

possibly needs a restart of the system to implement the change?

Have you contacted the hosting server where that malicious attack is coming from? They can deactivate that user as well.
