So, I got to try out the WP-Live Chat by 3CX. I am probably asking an obvious question, but is the plan for this to become the replacement for the 3CX Live Chat (with voice and integration to 3CX Chat Client)?

It's a cool product indeed!

However based on the acquisition blog post, they'll remain two separate products. (for the time being at least):

3CX intends to further develop WP-Live Chat Support which will be available free of charge with all its features as a standalone product. Unlike 3CX Live Chat & Talk, WP-Live Chat will not include the ability to audio and video call with website visitors – to do this users need to install 3CX’s own plugin.

They work in a completely different way so one cannot replace the other I believe.

We've got big plans for this plugin, but much more time is needed. No plans to replace one with the other for the time being.
