Transcription and Backups v20

Is there a plan to give the option of separate storage for backups if I am using Google for voicemail transcription? I want to save my backups on remote storage but don't want to use Google's storage. I only see one option for remote storage and can't choose a separate destination and now I am forced to use Google Storage if I want to transcribe.

That is incorrect. You can also use Open AI, and the transcription will not tied to the archiving.

Thanks for the reply Nicholas. I am working with a medical clinic and I need the transcriber to sign a BAA for HIPAA. Google will provide a BAA for their speech to text features. I haven't found any info about Open AI providing that with whisper.
