I am looking at using the 3CX Transcription engine and wanted to confirm a few details.

Where do the Transcripts get stored?

How much space do they take up / does it come out of the System Maintenance Recordings storage?

How can you manage properties about the transcripts? (e.g. how long they stay in 3CX before disappearing)

Saved in database. Not as files.

What do you mean by this?
The transcripts texts are stored in the database alongside the recording data. They're not files so they don't take space per-se.

And so they don't have a time limit. They're stored forever.

Okay that makes sense. So Transcripts do not take up any additional space along side recordings?

Does that also mean when the Recording is deleted from being automatically deleted the Transcript will not disappear with it?

Sorry, just wondering if you had an answer to my previous response?

That is correct. File can be deleted and transcript will stay.
