I'm having an issue with transferring a call via de Desktop App:

1) i'm receiving a call and answer this call
2) I want "attended transfer" and select this from the pop-up screen
3) when I select and dial a collegue from the desktop app I cannot transfer to this person (the app thinks this is a new single call)
4) I have 2 separate calls in the pop-up screen but no option to connect these two calls together.

The receptionist wants to select a user from the desktop "Team" view (because of overview and group selection) but it seems
the only way to transfer a call is to type in the name in de small pop-up screen and selecting from there. Everything else results
in "a new call" which cannot be transferred.

Please help!

Hi @Sven Witlox,

This is correct, as the attended transfer is handled from within the dialer they will need to search for the extension number within the dialer to allow the option to transfer to another extension via attended transfer.

The functionality is correct as you wouldn't want to dial any one in your team and have them automatically attended transferred.

@VasilisV_3CX ok thanks for your reply! In this case it would be preferred to transfer to a team member via de Desktop App "Team" (with one click). Now you have to search for the user manually or make a new BLF key which makes the Desktop app not usefull for a receptionist...

With the old webcliënt this was possible.

I understand @Sven Witlox, as the new Desktop App is built similarly to the Web Client, and not to the Windows App, it's currently not possible.

Being a Platinum Partner, I'd suggest starting a feature request post in the Ideas forum.
