Trunk Providers 2013

Can anyone suggest trunk providers? I am trying VoIP.ms and having too difficult of a time with it. I email support and its hours before you get a reply. I've spent two full days trying to get the system configured. I'm looking for good call quality and a decent rate with 3 DIDs and at least 2 channels or 3 if possible.

When I saw this thread I signed in thinking I'd give a good word for my favorite provider. Ooops, you've already tried voip.ms!

Well, I agree that email support is slow. I use their livechat instead.

Anyway, I've found their service to be extremely reliable and their communication about network issues to be good. They've recently added quite a few new server locations which is also good. Call quality is very satisfactory and their DID options very competitive. What more could you want with $1.95 DIDs with unlimited channels?

I got burnt with CC in Hurricane Sandy last year. They've consolidated servers too much and we were done for almost a week. :shock:

CC = CallCentric? I did too. I set up a couple bash scripts that ping the servers every 15 mins for them AND for my hosting provider. I was prompted to action by the hurricane issue and also when they said they were being DDoS'd ? I thought what looked like a larger, stable company wouldn't be affected by someone trying to DDoS... its not impossible to mitigate that type of attack, so ... I was kinda miffed about that... not being able to answer my phone or make calls does NOT help my business.

However I was told of a good list of VoIP service providers here...

SIP providers are a dime a dozen these days, so it's a challenge to find reliable ones. I've used Teliax for years and Junction Networks. I've used many more but those two have the longest track record.
