I had a v16 Debian install that was working fine. I wasn't able to update that install so I installed new v18 and restored from backup. On the new system I am getting trunks that drop constantly.
3cx Enterprise 18.0 Update 3 (Build444)
Telnyx SIP Provider authenticating through credentials. 91 trunks. My IP is in the allowed list in Telnyx
Firewall is fine except " testing port 5060... full cone test failed " error." It worked fine before the upgrade.
SIP ALG is disabled in the Fortinet firewall.

I am getting lots of complaints about calls going silent for a minute or two and are dropping. I believe the silent part is the trunks failing over to the secondary.

I can go in and refresh registration on the trunk and they instantly come back up.

This is an example of what I am seeing.
8:02 am
Trunk L:10039(Barling Main) has changed status to unregistered. This means that no more calls will pass via this trunk. Please check your network connection and the voip provider or other SIP PBX

8:10 am
Trunk L:10039(Barling Main) has changed status to registered.

I am not sure where to start. I rebooted the 3cx system. I also rebooted the firewall and switch. Locally I feel like it is fine but I cant find logs that actually point to the cause of them dropping.

Hi @techguyjason

You can use the Activity log for logs and make sure you bump the logging level to Verbose for extra details. You could also run a tshark capture on the OS and catch the issue when it happens.
But the first step is to troubleshoot why the firewall checker is not passing as it may very well be the source of your issue.
What Debian version are you running now and did you use the 3CX ISO to install it?

The trunks dropping do not show in the activity log. They only show in the event log on the dashboard page.
I am running 10.9 and I installed from the 3cx ISO.

Just to be sure, the update 3 final release has just been released. Update to that and run the firewall checker on that to see if it makes a difference. It should not but its best troubleshooting on the stable release rather on the Beta.
