Hello,

Only a few days into 3CX. Got the Debian ISO up and running, all smooth so far. Complete "local install", didn't install 3CX in a cloud.

I want to get my Digital Receptionist setup with a welcome greeting, options for different departments, etc, etc.

The problem....I don't want to record my own voice. I am trying to find a TTS service/software that I can use the wav files in the 3CX. Anyone have recommendations on some free software for making the files?

Full Disclosure - I do not have the Pro version of 3CX yet. Still proving the concept to management that 3CX is awesome and exactly what we need.

For recording of WAV's I use Audacity, it is free and very easy to use, plus you can mix different streams together ie: Your voice with music in the background: https://www.audacityteam.org/

There are online services if you Google that will do text to speech recording, however most that are worth anything are chargeable - the free ones sound robotic.

Bing Speech or Amazon Poly. Both are free.

Or just hire out a voice actor for $20 or $30 to do up an IVR message from your script. As eddv already suggested, audacity is easy to use and a little bit of google-fu may provide some surprisingly cost-effective solutions.
