Used the 3CX instructions for Twilio SMS/MMS but can't get sending or receiving to work properly.

INCOMING MESSAGES: I can see incoming messages in both the Twilio Programmable Messaging Logs(first leg) and the 3CX Event Log(second leg) on the dedicated (3CX PRO 20) server with the heading Warning 30045 - Unable to parse message from provider generic. Error...along with the complete message and or images. The message does not make it to the 3CX iOS app nor the Windows 3CX softphone.

OUTGOING MESSAGES: Whether sent from the iOS 3CX App or the Windows 3CX soft client, these messages do not show up in the 3CX Event Log and they don't make it to the Twilio Programmable Messaging Logs either. Although the 3CX server shows no indication of an attempt to send a message, creating a message on the iOS 3CX app will get updated on the Windows soft client and vice versa despite the server logs showing no activity.

Has anyone else experienced this or any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong. Thanks. I appreciate it.

Is your number configured in E164 format?

Where would I find this setting. I set up the rules and calls have been delivered properly regardless the configuration of the dialing string. Is this a setting somewhere in the SMS panel for the User or is this a setting somewhere in Advanced. Thanks.

In your Sip Trunk the number is in E164 format?

Yes. They all start with +1 then list the other 10 digits.

Is the incoming also in E164 format?

I only see Outbound rules. Where can I find that setting. Though all call seem to be getting rounded routed properly either incoming or outgoing, does this indicate anything? BTW I appreciate your assistance.

You are welcome.
Note that this error is generated from the provider side.
Can you share the error but remove any critical information from there?

Will do. Thanks
