Unable to Configure Patton Gateway on 3CX

Dear Support,

Recently, we purchased a Patton gateway (model: SN4141/4JOV/EUI). Unfortunately, we are unable to add the gateway to the 3CX server. We have attempted to apply the 3CX-generated configuration file, but when we do, the device fails to communicate. However, when we manually assign an IP address, it is recognizing the interface as WAN instead of LAN.

We require your urgent support to resolve this issue.

I have similar model in site where ethernet is bound to LAN instead of WAN.

Its been a few years since Ive configured a gateway, but the gateway should be connected to your network with the WAN interface, not the LAN.

The configuration created by 3CX will be created exactly as it is required, so just plug it in to your network from the WAN port.

Hi Nicholas,

After applying the 3CX configuration file, I am unable to access the Patton gateway, even when connecting directly. I may need to reset the Patton gateway.
