Unable to re-provision Company Directory to phones

Hi,

My Fanvil phones are provisioned using 3CX.

there is a change of the company directory (change of some of the extension's names) and i tried to re-provisiion the phones using the
Reprovision button in Phones option (pls refer to the attached image).

However, the changes in the company directory are not pushed to the phones.

Can anyone advise how the changes in extension information can be re-provisioned to the phones ?

can you try to select the phone and click reprovision

The "Reprovision" button only pushes the config to the phone, not the directory.

The directory itself auto-refresh every hour on most phones (configured in the templates.) You can usually for it to download with a button on the phone itself.

Otherwise, the Webclient is always up-to-date.

Either wait for the phone to update it automatically (every 12 hours), or try simply rebooting the phone if you have a good reason for needing it to update right now.

i rebooted the Fanvil phone but it did not update the directory. there is no issue for mobile app.

In this case you know what your remaining option are:

a) Allow it to provision automatically on it own cycle

b) Factory reset and reprovision it to force the update

c) Manually edit the refresh timer in the phone


The mobile app should not be compared to a deskphone, they use very different methods of loading the contacts.
