Hi,
I was looking for a way to unmask Anonymous/Private Caller numbers in 3CX V20.
I know this can be achieved with (i think) only toll-free DID numbers. When I review the call logs from our VoIP provider (voip.ms), I noticed something during testing: when I call our toll-free number, 3CX displays the caller as "Anonymous," but the unmasked number is visible in the VoIP provider's call log (real time billing report).
Is there a way to configure 3CX to show the unmasked number? I know this is possible, as I’ve observed it with businesses like eBay and Dell. When I call them from my cellphone, which always shows as "Anonymous," they are still able to identify my number.
I’m trying to determine if we can implement 3CX in a private security dispatch center. Currently, they use an Asterisk system, which can unmask the numbers of anonymous callers.
Thanks in advance for your help!
