Yoo 3CX,

Why is since v20 the Lydis firmware unsupported?.
The only way to get rid the "Upgrade" notification behind a phone is to use the 3CX provided firmware, which doesn't support Dutch..
Why do you support a wide range of languages but no Dutch?.

Or;
If u upload a custom firmware, atleast let me get rid of the "Upgrade" notification.

Lydis firmware always was a 3rd party software.

In Version 20 you can upload the Lydis firmware and use it on your phones.

These firmware files should now be available to use and upgrade.

Ask Lydis and Yealink why this is the case. Its something that has intrigued ALOT of people, myself included. The question that should be asked is why does Yealink require a separate firmware for a different language.

Hi @NicholasP_3CX

Thanks for the quick reply.

I know how to add custom firmware; that was not my question.
My qustion was why there still is a "Upgrade" button behind the phone firmware version, even if i use a custom one.

I see you are from the support team.
Why do i need to colleborate this?. I'm a single player between two big companies. Maybe you can throw a line higher up to make this happen. From what i've heared Lydis is more than willing to merge into the "default" firmware. I've been asking them this multiple times.

I highly doubt that Lydis is willing to merge the dutch language pack into the 'default' firmware.
They have full monopoly on the BeNeLux market right now. Try getting a third party phone (not sold by Lydis or any of its resellers (Businesscom also buys from Lydis)), and getting the Lydis firmware on there (you can't).

You are missinformed
firmware is still published by Yealink but exclusively for Lydis
so the firmware per se is not 3rd party and never was, it was always made by yealink
also why remove a perfectly good function which was working like a charm before

also lydis is doing it becasuse they have a monopoly this way, duh..
but it is not my problem as user
often yealink phones are decided on a higher level
i have to use them
talking to yealijnk and lydis wont help me, i am just a small fish
