Upgrade 3CX System

I just wanted to ask it's possible or not. I'm currently using 3CX version 18 and I want to upgrade to version 20. Can I restore a configuration backup file from version 18 into version 20? I don’t want to set everything up from scratch. How can I do that?

If it is a Linux instance you dont need to do this with the backup and restore. A backup is required in case something goes wrong and you need to restore. But from a Linux Version 18 to Version 20 you just need to click on the updates button from the updates page, and this will be automated.

However, in Windows this is the way to do it. Backup V18 and restore in V20.

Just ensure that your Version 18 instance is on Update 9 before starting.
