I need to set the "system owner" role, but there is no option for this. my V18 is Standard Annual and my new license is Pro. For V20 I will need the "system owner" but I can't set is.
any idea how to get it solved? I prefer not to do the whole setup once again.

You're too out of date. That's a problem since you cannot upgrade because it cannot activate.

Is it a Linux machine? If so, try running "apt update" and "apt upgrade", it may update to the latest v18 and then you will be able to set the owner and then upgrade.

Otherwise, if it's Windows, backup and reinstall.

it is a linux system on raspberry pi. let me check

Just download the backup you currently have an install v18 from the Debian 10 ISO on a new machine. Then restore the backup during setup.

Make sure to not install v20 as restoring that backup there would cause many issues.

ok so first to V18 on Debian 10 and after this upgrade to V20?

mm managed now my SBC to upgrade, hoped I could do it via the PBX
and I need to setup my dect phones again

No need for SBC if the phones are local. Also, for v20, you'll need split DNS.

not all my phones are local so I will need the SBC, split DNS?

Yes split DNS so that local phones can provision through the HTTPS port (v20 kinda forces it now but already configured phones should keep working.) Some firewalls support that built-in. It means the FQDN should be reachable inside the office via its private IP, and outside via the public IP.

You can also try hairpin NAT if your router supports it.

AH ok, I think it is setup already..... but my VOIP numbers seem to be offline... since the new install

mmm my KPN Voip sip trunk is not connecting. This was working in my previous setup... I checked the settings and they seem to be fine.
Can't I setup different sip server which is not in the list?

Generic SIP is under the Generic country.

In v20 some of the settings are removed.

I had to enable SRTP Mode and after this it did work again

Please always ensure that the PBX is up to date to avoid any such issues.
In any case good to know this is resolved ;)
