Solved Upgrading from version 18 to 20

Hi all,
I'd like some help about upgrading a V18 installation with a revoked license to a v20 installation with a purchased license.

I tried "Upgrade" from control panel but the revoked license doesn't make me go on.
I can provide old and new license if needed.
My primary goal is be able to restore the v18 backup to the v20 new install.

I tried unstalling v18 and installing v20 but restore from the backup file fails (of course) saying the old license is not valid.
What is the correct procedure to use?

1. Ensure that you have followed all the prerequisites in this document https://www.3cx.com/blog/releases/v20-upgrade-checklist-faq/

The most important step in this case is to have a system owner account and be able to log in to the web client of this system owner account BEFORE performing the upgrade. This way you can be sure that you have access to the system owner admin console in Version 20. Otherwise, you will have done all this work for nothing!

2. Take a backup in Version 18 without an FQDN.
3. Install version 20 with the new license, and FQDN. Do NOT use the restore. Create an entirely new system with 1 extension.
4. When the system is up and running, put your backup into the defined backup folder. This could be on the serve ritself or in a remote storage.
5. Restore the backup you just uploaded.
6. Sit back and let it do its magic.

You should now be able to login with your Version 18 system owner account credentials. The system owner created in the version 20 installation will be invalid.

Hi, did followed the procedure, making sure my extension 81 was system administrator before backup.
All went smooth, but after restore of the v18 backup, I cannot login with my extension or email.
What I can do ?

Redid the procedure resetting passwords before upgrade, all is fine!
