URL in CRM to trigger Desk phone to call number

I can put a link behind a Phone number in our CRM.
How does the link has to look like, so that the phone on my desk, not the web client, calls the number from the CRM?
The CRM knows how is in front (login), so it knows the desk phone extension.

Like: https://company.my3cx.com?deskphone_ext=10&call_number=0405551234&auth=xxx&...

Direct calling from any other system is not supported at the moment.

Currently you have to use the 3CX apps to trigger a call.

If you install 3CX Phone for Windows, it can register as the default application that responds to the "tel:" protocol. In the link in your CRM, craft a properly structured "tel:" command. It will instruct 3CX Phone for Windows to dial your desk phone.

@voiptoys and Browser Extension has parsing mechanism that can construct clickable numbers in web based systems.

The request though is not to have a separate application calling. The request is to directly call from the CRM system.

I am not talking about the chrome plugin. I'm talking about the tel: protocol. Like Mailto: where you can click on a email address and it will automatically invoke your default email client, the tel protocol is registered by Windows so that if anyone clicks on the link, Windows will automatically invoke the application registered to respond to tel requests. 3CX Phone for Windows registers as the agent for the tel protocol and will automatically respond.
