Use cellphone status to mark ext status unavailable/busy

Requesting feature to mark the the extension busy when the user is in a cellular call on the same device as the app is provisioned.

eg:
User has ext 101
Ext 101 is provisioned in 3CX app on cellphone A
User receives or makes cellphone call on cellphone (not 3CX call)
Would like the 3CX app to read the "in a call" status of the phone and change the extension status to Busy -reject incoming calls

This would not make so much sense as even personal calls outside hours would show the user busy in the system.

If this is an issue, the user can simply put themselves in DND before making/taking a call, or even during the call to prevent 3CX ones from coming in.

Yes, I agree that even personal calls will mark the user busy, that is the intention of this request.

The action of marking oneself as DND while taking a call is impractical to complete while the phone is ringing.

The intention of the feature request is to prevent the 3CX app being able to ring while in a cellular call, making the cellular call impossible to continue.

Bottom line - no.

This feature has been requested during years for both Android and iOS clients, and bottom line cannot be implemented in a safely way (especially in PUSH conditions) because would involve
- client running continuously as a service monitoring the GSM calls
- a perfect, permanent connection with the PBX in order to properly notify the new status.

So, I consider this topic closed.
