I cannot post in the idea's forum. so if someone could move this post there:
It would be nice if the webclient would NOT allow to upload a profile picture for your extension if user photo sync in the MS365 integration is enabled.

I had a couple of times where user uploaded a profile pictures into 3CX instead of MS365 and then 3CX had the picture but MS365 had not of course.

Just an additional note here. If the MS365 integration is active, the user photo will revert back to the MS365 one in the next sync.

You can simply uncheck the option the sync 365 user photos to extesion :)

that was not the point of this. We want the user photo sync from ms365. But we want that in this case the user is not able to u pictures in the web client anymore. To avoid confusion etc.

it causes confusion with the user if a pictures disappears or changes because of the user photo sync. Yes the photo sync is desired but this confusion can be avoided if the user cannot upload into 3CX directly in the first place.

This is an absolute must. Great as a default for users to be able to upload their own photos, but we need a way of disabling this and centrally managing this, ideally without the use of 365 sync. Currently if someone uploads something inappropriate or the incorrect picture, we have to now go into their user, reset the password, log in as them, and then change the picture - nothing stopping them changing this back though!

Tons of similar frustration on the internet, shame really!

In 365, the administrator can override or specify a different picture for the user, without logging in as the user. Same for 3CX, we would love the ability to specify pictures via the admin console without logging into the webclient as the user.
