Users disappeared from hosted instance

Hi, I have a 4SC instance that was running fine, last night I logged in to trigger the firmware updates on the handsets. 2 of the handsets updated fine. For the other 2, the users disappeared from the Users menu in admin. Strangley, one of the users that disappeared in the system owner. But the handsets still show in the Phones tab, and have the update link available. However, attempting to update the phones shows a error. I restored the system from a backup taken 2 weeks ago, but the same two users are still missing from the backup?

Are you logged in as a system owner? If not the higher level users aren’t visible.

Thanks Steve, that makes sense. I've just logged in as Owner, and can see all the users. Interstingly though, I was logged in as System Administrator, and one of the users that wasn't visible has role of Manager. I'm also still a bit perplexed as to why this triggered as a result of doing the handset updates. Prior to that I could see all users.

Owner and System Administrator are below System Owner, FWIW.

Sorry, yes. I realise that. I should have said can see all users when logged in as System Owner. But System Admin is above Manager, so the confusion is as to why I couldn't see the Manager user when logged in as System Admin

System Admin is meant for more low level system changes and does not have access to administer Managers and Group Owners.
