I have an existing configured FXO and GSM Gateway. It is already connected to 3CX. I am planning to have a Proof of Concept for SIP Trunk and needs to install SBC to use it. Will my current PABX have an issue if I configured an SBC and connect it to my current 3CX?

Hello @arnie.cuenta

Why do you need an SBC? Is your PBX in the cloud?
Generally 3C does not support FXO devices via our SBC. We always recommend using a VPN connection so that the device appears local to the PBX.

Good Afternoon,

Do I still need an SBC if provider already have a SIP Trunk?

Thank you.

If you are using a SIP trunk then you do not need an SBC to connect to the provider. You may need an SBC if your PBX is in the cloud and you want to connect IP phones to it.
It all depends on your configuration and needs. If you provide some details regarding your setup we will be able to better advice.
