Using Trial on prem pbx to capture configured xml config files for ip phones

I'm wanting to have baseline templates configured for IP Phones (Primarily yealink's T4X and T5x Phones)

I've read that with On Prem installs of the PBX you can find the configured templates in the program folder for the 3cx pbx.

My questions are:

1. Can you use a configured xml file for a specified model, say yealink T4 series phones, and apply them to new phones?
2. Do you have to setup a trial under my 3cx systems to do this?

Please let me know if you need more clarity on what I'm trying to accomplish.

You can create a custom template. Note 3CX will not support it.
