  • Phone Model: Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G Verizon
  • Android Version: Android 12
  • App Version:18.1.1.55
  • 3CX PBX Version: 18.0 Update 3 (Build 461) Debian
  • Network Connection: WiFi or LTE
  • Client is in different network (we isolate the PBX and only use external FQDN provided by 3cx).

Hi,

We are a potential customer testing the free version (4 SIM Calls) at the moment. The system is working fine with the web client and with the desktop app. I am currently testing my own Android phone, it seems to be unreliable. Sometimes it would be "Ready for calls" sometimes it is stuck at "Connecting..." When it works, it works fine, but after a few calls it would get stuck while dialing and then it would get stuck with "Connecting" for a while (maybe 10-15 minutes). Seems no difference if I use WiFi or LTE. I seem to be able to reproduce by rapid dialing (dialing then hanging up) repeatedly although not always. When rapid dialing on the web client or desktop app it has not failed me yet. Any hints on why the Android app is behaving like this?

Thanks,

ddx

Hi ddx, thanks for the feedback.
Could you please provide me in PM the app's verbose logs?
  1. Enable Verbose Logs: “Android App Settings (top left hamburger menu) > Settings > Advanced > Troubleshooting > Enable verbose logging”.
  2. Reproduce the issue and “Send log report”: Android App Settings (top left hamburger menu) > Settings > Advanced > Troubleshooting > Send Log Report
Thanks

Tom
